A 2008 presidential hopeful speaks out against Oklahoma's election policies.  The Libertarian Party's Presidential nominee, Bob Barr, will file a lawsuit to overturn the state's ballot access requirement that would put his name on the November ballot.  Oklahoma requires a candidate to get about 40,000 signatures to be added to the ballot.  Barr's campaign says they are on track in every other state because they require less than 10,000 names.  Barr says it's unconstitutional.

"We believe that is unfair, we believe that the citizens of Oklahoma ought to have the same rights in terms of access to voting for the office of President and Vice President as the other states and the District of Columbia," Libertarian Candidate for President, Bob Barr explained.

Barr turned in close to 10,000 petition signatures, and will be running for the libertarian party with Wayne Allen Root.

Tulsa attorney Jim Linger is filing the lawsuit on behalf of Barr.
