It's Time for Sime!

Thank you for your support and interest in my campaign for State Senate! Please read below for the latest news from the campaign. I welcome your thoughts anytime at arin@arinsime.com

Check out the radio coverage this week!
Earlier this week, Daily Progress political reporter Bob Gibson was a guest with "Charlottesville Right Now" host Coy Barefoot, and they discussed Bob's column about Libertarian advertising, including my campaign's recently released ad on YouTube, and which will run on TV in the final week of the campaign.

I should say that neither Bob or Coy interviewed me before his column or this show about my ads. I say that because I found it very gratifying that they both noticed the very positive and issues-oriented nature of my ad, in addition to the fact that we used local families in the district to talk about the issues they believe in and that I will champion in the State Senate. The positive reaction they had to my ad is exactly what we were going for, and is the type of positive message I try very hard to promote in my campaign. I hope that the voters of the 24th district will also appreciate our approach in this campaign, and that they will vote for their principles on November 6th.

You can listen to the entire show online. The discussion about my campaign is all in the first few minutes. I will also be a guest on Charlottesville Right Now this Friday 10/19 from 5-5:30 pm. Tune in at 1070 AM!

But this is far from the only radio coverage I've had this week. This morning I had a lot of fun discussing the campaign with Joe Thomas on 1260 AM WCHV. On Friday from 5:00 - 5:30 pm I will be a guest on WINA 1070 AM with Coy Barefoot. And this past Monday night we had a radio debate with all three candidates on WSVA 550 AM in Harrisonburg. In addition to all the radio coverage this week, I also spoke to a candidate forum at State Farm Insurance, to Augusta Chamber of Commerce members in Staunton, and attended a legislative reception with the Charlottesville Chamber of Commerce. I also got a couple more large 4x4 foot signs up. It's been a busy week!

Next week we have candidate forums Monday and Tuesday night, an editorial board meeting, and more campaigning. Radio ads will also start running around the district, and voters should start receiving campaign postcards from us. Thank you to everyone for your words of encouragement, your donations, and your vote on November 6th!
