Libertarian Gilmour At 6%

Libertarian Gilmour At 6%
Posted By Jake Porter

According to the Missouri Libertarian Party website, Libertarian United States Senate candidate Frank Gilmour is currently polling at 6% against his Republican and Democratic opponents.
October 7, 2006 Frank Gilmour, Libertarian candidate for US Senate in Missouri, is polling 6% in a recent Reuters/Zogby poll: US Senator Jim Talent (R) - 43%, State Auditor Claire McCaskill (D) - 39%, Frank Gilmour (Libertarian) - 6%. http://www.politics1.com/ This represents significant growth in support for Gilmour's campaign, and puts him in a strong position in the race. In light of these polling results, it is even more egregious that he is being excluded from upcoming televised debates. Unfortunately, the Reuters news story about the poll does not report Gilmour's numbers http://elections.us.reuters.com/top/news/usnN04391119.html.
