Georgia Libertarian Hayes Polling at 8.1% for Governor

“This is coming as a BIG surprise to the Republicans and Democrats,” said Libertarian gubernatorial candidate Garrett Michael Hayes on Thursday, when asked about the latest Wall Street Journal / Zogby poll that shows him garnering 8.1% of the vote.  "But it's no surprise to the people of Georgia."

The new poll shows that, in the three-way race for Governor, support for Hayes's libertarian message of REAL change is resonating, and almost TRIPLE what it was four years ago.

"Georgians are tired of listening to the two major parties sniping at each other, arguing about things far beyond the real world of Georgia today, promising the moon, and DELIVERING nothing.  We're talking about REAL changes in the REAL world of what we can REALLY do here in Georgia, and people are paying attention.

"For anyone who thinks that 8.1% is nothing, they need to think again.  Remember Jesse Ventura?  He was only polling near 10% going into the debates, before going on to become Governor of Minnesota.  Our debates are still ahead, and Georgians have a lot to see.  We're going all the way!"
