Interview With Kent McManigal

1. Are you a member of the Libertarian Party? How long? No. 2.Do you have a campaign team and who is on it? None. 3. Have you ever worked on another Libertarian campaign? Have you helped petition to get a candidate on the ballot? I questioned LP delegates on behalf of Micheal Badnarik in 2003 4.If you could run on only one issue, what would it be? Individual liberty 5. Do you have a website? Yes. A webpage and a blog 6 How do you plan on using the Internet?
Blogging and addressing the issues via the webpage. 7.How much money do believe you can raise for this campaign? I do not accept donations.
Anyone who wishes can advertise for me however they see fit. 8. What Percentage do plan to use on T.V. ads? n/a 9 How do plan to make sure we are on the ballot in every state? Is there a point where it might not make sense not to be on every in state. no opinion 10 What is you stand on the war in Iraq? Invading foreign countries is wrong.
War is for defence only. Bring the troops home safely now. 11.When do you plan on visiting Libertarian events outside your state? undecided 12 What is your goal in running for president?
Ultimately to win, but short of that, to make more people
aware that there are much better choices than
the socialist who are entrenched in government.

13 What do you think of the Libertarian reform caucus? 
It was a grave mistake to water down the platform. 14 What is the largest obstacle facing the LP going forward and what solutions would you recommend?
Being ignored by the mainstream. Be as radical as our principles demand.
We will be noticed if we do not back down, or apologize. 15 What makes you the best candidate in the race for the LP nomination? I am not a "one issue person",
I am different than any other candidate in history. 16 What is your stand on property rights?
Without property rights, there are NO rights.
Everything is ultimately a "property right" 17 What role should the federal government play in our lives compared  to the state or local governments?
Secure "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" standing for the people against
local governments when they violate this obligation. 18 Do you support the fair tax? all taxation is theft and no theft is fair. 19 What do you consider your greatest accomplishment in your life? My kids 20. What Libertarian campaigns from the past have impressed you the most? Micheal Badnarik's run for president in 2004.
Nothing else comes close.
