  Smith’s Olde Bar to Host

  THE GEORGIA LIBERTARIAN BENEFIT CONCERT

August 29, 2006- Atlanta: *thinkLIBERTARIAN.com* is proud to announce a
benefit concert for the Libertarian Party of Georgia to be held at
Smith’s Olde Bar, October 12th. Local Atlanta bands have agreed to
perform this show to raise money for Libertarian Party outreach
projects.

“With access to the bands, a great venue, and the elections only a few
weeks away, it seemed like a great idea.” says Mark Augustyn, founder
of
thinkLIBERTARIAN.com. “Music has been an important part of every
successful social and political movement; the Libertarian Party is no
exception.”

“Working with a 3^rd party, money is always an issue. By bringing some
great local bands together, on one of the city’s best stages, while
raising awareness of what the Libertarian Party stands for, this can
only be a good thing for everyone involved,” Augustyn says.

To be held on Thursday, October 12, 2006 at Smith’s Olde Bar (1578
Piedmont Avenue, Atlanta, GA, 404.875.1522), the show will feature
performances by:

Whose House (11:30)

The Lord Is My Shotgun (10:30)

Alan Yates Band (9:30)

Brainbox (8:30)

King of Prussia (7:30)

Doors will open at 7 p.m. The cover charge will be $10 and 100% of
proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Libertarian Party of
Georgia.

Mark goes on to say, “To be able to hear some great music and raise
money for a party working to give voters another choice at the voting
booth, is something that everyone involved is extremely excited about,
and proud to be a part of.”
